coco coir, Diatomite, coarse “micro Leca”, pumice, zeolite, compost, lava rock, worm castings…all ingredients are mixed up fresh to order. Everything’s all natural and sourced locally.
 
 
WHY USE The Soil Bar PALM MIX?
Did you know that using traditional “sand” in your potting soil actually is more harmful than helpful? Other soils marketed as “palm mix” “cactus mix” “succulent mix” are only adding regular sand and charging a lot more for it than they should.
Tiny particles of sand cause palms to become oxygen starved when they’re growing in a household environment/in a pot. This sand is the same stuff as you see in your kids sandbox and it should stay there.
In order for plants to receive adequate oxygenation, prevent compaction and improve water flow they must have a very coarse large particle size.most sand is very dense and heavy. This causes roots to starve of oxygen!
